July 20

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a building fire at 205 W. Nevada St., a dispatched/cancelled en route to 405 S. Sixth St., a smoke scare at 501 S. Second St., an alarm system activation-no fire-unintentional at 1002 S. Third Ave. and a alarm system activation due to a malfunction at 1002 S. Third Ave. and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1008 S. Seventh Ave., 22 N. First Ave., 1710 E. Nevada St. and 1211 W. State St.

July 19

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a cooking fire at 402 Plaza Heights Road, a power line down at 5 W. Meadow Lane, two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 102 E. State St. and 1 W. Grant St., three alarm system activations due to malfunction at: 703 S. Center St., 212 W. Ingledue St. and 705 S. Center St. and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 700 S. Center St., 709 S. Third Ave., 208 E. Ferner St., 2306 S. Center St., 206 Nicholas Drive, 3002 S. Eighth St. and 404 N. 17th St.

July 18

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident, general cleanup at 1008 Iowa Ave. West, a dispatched/cancelled en route to 705 S. Center St., an outside rubbish fire at 207 N. 12th Ave., an alarm system activation-no fire-unintentional at 212 W. Ingledue St., a public service at 204 W. Nevada St., a smoke detector activation due to malfunction at 212 W. Ingledue St. and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 4 E. Main St., 207 NewCastle Road, 402 N. 10th Ave. and 1002 W. Boone St.

July 17

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 1002 W. Boone St. and 10 medical assists with the EMS crew to: 602 E. State St., 2 N. Second Ave., 406 E. South St., 1509 Marion St., 3202 S. 12th St., 604 E. Church St., 1007 Finkle Ave., 1114 S. First St., 1404 Fairway Drive and 202 Thomas Drive.

July 16

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a HazMat release investigation with no HazMat at 5 N. Fifth Ave., a passenger vehicle fire at 522 N. First St. and Riverside Street and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 5 N. Fifth Ave., 402 N. 10th Ave. and 403 1/2 S. First St.

July 15

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke detector activation due to a malfunction at 709 S. Third Ave. and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 211 W. Church St., 1410 W. Linn St., 202 N. Second Ave., 102 W. Anson St., 709 S. Third Ave., 1704 S. Center St., 202 NewCastle Road and 1519 W. Church St.
