• Say Say Htoo made an initial appearance through a Karen interpreter on a serious domestic abuse charge and two counts of a child endangerment-causing injury or mental illness-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 23. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.

• Dacoda Lee Lawrence made an initial appearance on a tampering with a witness charge and nine counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office will continue as counsel. The preliminary hearing on the tampering charge is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 23. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Chris A. Uitermark, of State Center, made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-causing bodily injury charge. Chad Frese has been hired as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 23. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Yoneisi Perez Piloto made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a simple domestic abuse assault charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The pretrial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18 in Magistrate Court. Perez Piloto is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Alexander Ethan Willet made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.

• Jacinda Christine Buchanan made an initial appearance on a operation without owner’s consent charge and a providing false identification information charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 23. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Susan Marie Lewis made an initial appearance on a failure to file a timely guilty plea charge. Jeffrey Hazen will continue as counsel. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.
