Kevin Kyle Kroeger made an initial appearance on a burglary-third degree charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and on a warrant charging him with pre-trial release violation. The pre-trial release was revoked and a bond of $2,000 cash or surety was instated. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel on the new charges. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 15. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.
• Donald Gene Hall made an initial appearance through counsel, Chad Frese, on a possession of marijuana-third or subsequent offense charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 15. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
On Tuesday, Hall was seen on a warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only. The preliminary hearing on this charge is also 1 p.m. on Nov. 15.
• Marcus William Leon Reeves made an initial appearance on an escape from custody charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 15. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
• Lynette Kay Hinkle made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge. Hinkle pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.
• Heather Lynn Bell made an initial appearance with counsel, Melissa Nine, on a parole violation charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the administrative law judge. Bell is being held without bond.
• Justin Scott Zitzow made an initial appearance on four counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Zitzow is being held without bond.
• Gage Matthew Gunderson made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 26. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
• Adriana Berenice Herrera Paez failed to make an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance-accident charge. The court found Herrera Paez guilty on both charges. On the driving under suspension charge the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the no insurance charge is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735. All payments are due within 30 days.
