• Agustin Quetzecua Alejo made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge, a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 5. Alejo is released on his promise to appear.

• Kathleen Amber Dolan made an initial appearance on two counts of a probation violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Nov. 25. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Zachary Tyler Piersol made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a fraudulent use of registration charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 5. Piersol is released on his promise to appear.

• John Ray Cooper made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge and a dog at large charge. Cooper pleaded guilty and the fines are $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75 for each count, due within 30 days.

• Matthew Cole Richardson made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Richardson pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Julio Ramirez Perez made an initial appearance through a Spanish interpreter on a no insurance-accident charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Ramirez Perez pleaded guilty to both charges. On the no insurance charge the fine is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735. The fine on the no valid driver’s license charge is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Adan Josue Jaimes failed to make an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a speeding charge and a no insurance charge. The court found him guilty on all counts. On the driving under suspension and no insurance charges the fines are $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 on each count. The fine on the speeding charge is $80 with a $28 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $168. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Victoria Dawn Honts failed to make an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. The court found her guilty on all counts. On the driving under suspension and no insurance charges the fines are $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 on each count, due within 30 days.

Arrests

• On Friday, Marvis Clark, 56, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Friday, Zachary Piersol, 21, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender and fraudulent use of registration.

• On Friday, Donald Parraro, 46, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked, operating without interlock device and speeding.

• On Friday, Danial Wynter, 47, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Friday, Carlos Davila Romero, 36, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court.

• On Friday, Kathleen Dolan, 27, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court.

• On Thursday, Agustin Quetzecua-Alejo, 44, was arrested for driving under suspension, driving while license is denied or revoked, no valid driver’s license and no insurance.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a medical assist with the EMS crew to 411 Bromley St.

Nov. 9

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a no incident found upon arrival at dispatched address at 409 N. Center St., an authorized controlled burning at 1507 S. Second Ave., a smoke detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 2001 S. 18th Ave., five dispatched/cancelled en routes to: 202 N. Second Ave., 401 Main St., Liscomb; 107 E. Lincoln St., 1207 W. Church St. and 1301 Summit St. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1005 W. Lincoln Way, 304 N. Fourth St. and 302 Bromley St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 108 Washington St., 108 Washington St., 705 W. Iowa Ave., 1007 Fremont St., 202 N. Second Ave., 1104 Kester Road and 510 N. Second St.

Nov. 7

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a an extrication of victims from vehicle at 220th Street and Fairman Avenue, an overpressure rupture of air or gas pipe at 910 W. Boone St., a dispatched/cancelled en route to 403 N. Fourth St. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 202 Bohen St., 915 W. Merle Hibbs Blvd. and 521 N. First St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to Ninth Street and Boone Street, a smoke detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 208 E. Church St. and 11 medical assists with the EMS crew to: 212 N. 10th St., 513 E. Olive St., 405 N. 16th St., 2509 W. Lincolnway, 206 S. Third Ave., 3012 S. Center St., 104 N. Sixth St., 206 Nicholas Drive, 302 Plaza Heights Road, 514 E. Olive St. and 2022 Elmcrest Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 605 N. First Ave., 1612 W. Lincoln Way, 2 N. Second Ave., 302 1/2 Bromley St. and 1516 E. Olive St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to four dispatched/cancelled en routes to: 514 E. Olive St., 200 W. Lincoln St., 800 E. Main St., 302 1/2 Bromley St. and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1007 Finkle Ave., 209 N. Fifth Ave., 307 N. First St., 1619 S. 12th St. and 1103 S. Third Ave.
