The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2020. Thompson is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• John Charles Jorris made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge, a no insurance charge and a failure to dim headlamps charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2020. Jorris is released on his promise to appear. • Marcelo Gonzalez Jr. made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2020. Gonzalez is released on his promise to appear. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• On Wednesday, Colton Lagerquist, 25, was arrested for interference with official acts, eluding, driving while barred, failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way, no insurance, failure to obey a traffic control device and speeding.

• On Tuesday, Debra Ellis, 55, was arrested for keeping a vehicle or premises for controlled substance violation and child endangerment-bodily injury.

• On Tuesday, Mark Soard Jr., 33, was arrested for theft-third degree and forgery.
