• Deonta Junior Brown made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Brown is being held without bond.

• Marquis Shaquille Haynes made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-third or subsequent offense charge and a driving under suspension charge. A preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 26. Haynes is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Dillon James Knight made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge, an eluding charge, a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge, a failure to maintain control charge, a stop sign violation charge, a speeding charge and three counts of a no turn signal charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel on the parole violation charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Knight is being held without bond on this charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel for all the other charges. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 16. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Miguel Angel Ordaz Ochoa made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a guilty plea hearing charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The plea hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 13. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A pre-trial conference is scheduled on the drug paraphernalia charge for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2020, in Magistrate Court.

• Megan Jo Kosnar made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2020, in Magistrate Court.

• Rogelio Sanchez Sanchez made an initial appearance on a harassment-third degree charge. Sanchez Sanchez pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jessica Elizabeth Elaine Simmons made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. She will represent herself before the court. A preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Dec. 26. Bond will remain as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Trent Keith Sinn made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. Sinn pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Lucas Patrick Snyder made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2020, in Magistrate Court.

• Earl Rundell Thomas made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2020, in Magistrate Court.
