• Rafael Barboza Lopez made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Barboza Lopez pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Kristie Anderson made an initial appearance on a no insurance-accident charge. Anderson pleaded guilty and the fine is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735, due within 30 days.

• Theresa Atkins made an initial appearance on a window tint violation charge. Atkins pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 5 in Magistrate Court.

• Joshua Robert Richard Jamell made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-second offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 3. Jamell is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 3. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
