• Abdelrahman Obaidalla Abdalla made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Abdalla pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.
• Scott Edward Mills Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a driving while barred charge, a no insurance charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Jan. 24. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
• Ronald Lewis Hinders Jr. made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release was revoked. The bond is $2,000 cash or surety. Marshon Dubbert will continue as counsel.
• Jesse Ceniceros made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge and a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 4. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.
• Richard Eugene Relph made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Relph pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days. The court condemned the bond for payment of the fine with the remainder of the bond being returned to Relph.
• Pa Bawi made an initial appearance through a Burmese interpreter on a public intoxication charge and a disorderly conduct charge. Bawi pleaded guilty to both charges. The fines on each charge is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 on court costs for a total of $147.75 for each charge, due within 30 days.
• Van Lwin made an initial appearance through a Burmese interpreter on a public intoxication charge and a disorderly conduct charge. Lwin pleaded guilty to the public intoxication charge and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 on court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days. Lwin pleaded not guilty to the disorderly conduct charge and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 12 in Magistrate Court.
