• Arturo Manzo Macias made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. Marshon Dubbert will continue as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set at 1:30 p.m. on March 6 with the trial set for 9 a.m. on March 12. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.
• Jack Allen Edwards made an initial appearance on a no insurance-accident charge, a leaving the scene of an accident charge and a striking an unattended vehicle charge. Edwards pleaded guilty to all charges. The fine on the no insurance is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735. The fines on the other two charges are $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75 for each charge. All payments are due within 30 days.
• Andrew Lee Burke made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.
• Lexi Anne Lynch made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on March 10. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
• David Gomez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Gomez pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 8 in Magistrate Court.
• Shonnelle Cuba Holmes made an initial appearance on a carrying weapons charge and a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on March 10. Bond will remain as posted until the conclusion of this case.
• Crystal M. Lennie made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. Lennie pleaded guilty and the fines were $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 on each charge, due within 30 days.
• Wendy Maltos made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Maltos pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on April 1 in Magistrate Court.
• Joshua Thomas Ostdahl Jr. made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.
• Levi Dylan Gihring II made an initial appearance on two counts of a child endangerment charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Feb. 28. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.
• Skoky Gene Strohm made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Strohm is being held without bond.
• Tanya Eileen Perry made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Perry is being held without bond.
• Courtney Renae Cooper made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release is revoked. Christian Stickrod will continue as counsel. The arraignment hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m on Feb. 25. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Incidents
• On Tuesday, a hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of North 10th Street.
• On Tuesday, a theft was reported in the 500 block of South Seventh Avenue
• On Tuesday, a theft was reported in the 100 block of West Anson Street.
Arrests
• On Tuesday, Travis Kruse, 39, was arrested for theft-second degree-bad check.
• On Tuesday, Feb. 18, Sherry Lloyd, 78, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.
