Church St., 111 N. 10 St. and 811 E. Main St. and eight medical assists with the EMS crew to: 208 W. Grant St., 601 E. Church St., 207 1/2 N. 14th St., 3101 S. Center St., 2901 S. Second St., 2901 S. Second St., 3315 S. Center St. and 2022 Elmcrest Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 111 N. 10th St. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1302 S. Third Ave., 109 S. Fifth Ave. and 210 Westwood Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a grass fire at 3202 S. 12th St., a vehicle accident general cleanup at South Center Street and East Southridge Road and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1211 W. State St., 403 S. First St., 105 W. Merle Hibbs Blvd., 1104 W. Church St. and 507 Highland Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2022 Elmcrest Drive, 1509 Marion St. and 107 E. Lincoln St.

Feb. 19

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a steam, vapor, fog or dust thought to be smoke at 603 E. Main St., a dispatched/cancelled en route to 3111 310th St. and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 408 N. 17th St., 314 Sharon Ave., Seventh Street and West Boone Street, 902 W. Lincoln Way and 2 N. Second Ave.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 1900 S. Center St. and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 408 S. Ninth St., 408 N. 17th St., 55 Central Iowa Drive, 11 N. First Ave., 907 May St., 305 N. Second St. and 410 E. State St.

Feb. 17

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a steam, vapor, fog or smoke thought to be smoke at 1608 Laurel Drive, a dispatched/cancelled en route to 908 Summit St. and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 209 Thomas Drive, 4 Cherry St., 20 Iowa Ave. West and 407 Melody Lane.

Arrests

• On Wednesday, Daniel Ratte, 29, of Ames, was arrested on T-19 south of Highway 20 and charged with operating while under the influence-second offense. Ratte posted bond and was released.

• On Saturday, Cole Gilmore, 23, of State Center, was arrested in Conrad and charged with operating while under the influence-first offense. Gilmore posted bond and was released.

• On Saturday, Lyndon Davis, 30, of Cedar Falls, was arrested by Black Hawk County authorities on a Grundy County warrant charging him with burglary-third degree. Davis posted bond and was released.

Accidents

• On Tuesday, a vehicle driven by Travis Stewart, 50, of Marshalltown, was southbound on Highway 14 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Stewart vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

• On Thursday, a vehicle driven by Deborah Hubble, 61, of Reinbeck, was eastbound on Highway 175 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Hubble vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
