Court — Monday

• Omar Sanchez made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Kevin O’Hare is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 9.

• Dennis Joe Arment made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for arraignment charge. Kevin O’Hare is appointed as counsel. The arraignment hearing is scheduled for p.m. on March 10.

• Blake Clifford Thomas made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Thomas will hire his own counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Thomas is being held without bond.

• Adam Dean Bingham made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on March 20.

• A 16-year-old female made an initial appearance on a careless driving charge, a violation of a minors restricted license charge, a speeding charge and a failure to maintain control charge. She pleaded guilty to all charges. On the Careless driving charge the fine is $35 with a $17.25 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $112.25. The fine no the violation of a minor’s license is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The fine on the speeding charge is $$150 with a $57.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $267.50. The fine on the failure to maintain control is $100 with a surcharge of $40 and $60 in court costs for a total of $200.Al payments are due within 30 days.

• Julia Patricia Valera made an initial appearance on a unlawful passing of a school bus charge. Valera pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 1.
