• Timothy James Black jr. made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is $1,000 cash only.

• Jacob Thomas Borton made an initial appearance on a lascivious acts charge. Jennifer Frese and Tyler Reichardt filed an appearance. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 19. Bond is $10,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Lawrence James Palmer Jr. made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. Palmer pleaded guilty and the fine is $20 with a $7 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $87, due within 30 days.

• Herbert Samuel Elliott made an initial appearance on a fraudulent use of registration charge and a no insurance charge. Elliott pleaded guilty to both charges. On the registration charge the fine is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330. The fine on the no insurance is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Richard Martinez made an initial appearance on a truancy charge. Martinez pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 29 in Magistrate Court.

• Juana Ramirez made an initial appearance on a truancy charge. Ramirez pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 29 in Magistrate Court.

• Victoria Honts made an initial appearance on a compulsory education violation-first offense charge. Honts pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195 due within 30 days.

• Gabriel Omar Santos Lopez made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge, a harassment-first degree charge and a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel on the domestic abuse and harassment charges. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 12. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on March 17. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Narissa Jo Banks made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 23. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Anthony David Ashby made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Ashby pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and 460 on court costs for a total of $272.75, due within 30 days.
