• Nathan Wayne Cuellar made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge and an assault charge. The public defende’s office is appointed as counsel on the theft charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 30. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. Breanna Nelson is appointed as counsel on the assault charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 5 in Magistrate Court.

• Krystian William Gonzalez made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by then Administrative Law Judge. Gonzalez is being held without bond.

• Santiago Santiz Alvarez made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 29. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Willebaldo Yepez Laguna made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a violation of a restricted license charge, a turn at intersection violation charge, a no insurance charge and a careless driving charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on April 29. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Samuel Nelson Bragg made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief charge and a domestic abuse assault charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 29. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
