• Lloyd Allen Hannagan made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a child endangerment charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 6. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Samuel Soto made an initial appearance on four new counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Jeff Hazen will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Alan Scott Borton made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge and a no insurance charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 6. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Zakk Jaymz Cobb made an initial appearance on three counts of an interference with official acts charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on June 26.

• Tara Celeta Albee made an initial appearance on an assault charge and an interference with official acts charge. Christian Stickrod was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on June 26. Bond is set at $3,000 cash only.

• Gatluak Chuol Bol made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 in Magistrate Court.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims from vehicle at North Fifth Street and Jerome Street, two dispatched/canceled en route to 810 S. Third Ave., 532 N. Third St., two vehicle accidents with general clean-up at 300 E. Southridge Road and Governor Road and Iowa Avenue East and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 1211 W. State St. and 3315 S. Center St.

June 9

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an unauthorized burning at 216 N. Third Ave. and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 122 W. Main St., 711 W. Linn St., 7 N. 20th St., 616 W. Boone St. and 304 W. Meadow Lane.

June 10

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a no incident found upon arrival at dispatched address at First Avenue and Byron Street, two dispatched/canceled en route to 504 N. Seventh Ave. and 305 N. 10th Ave. and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 308 S. Third St. and 3202 S. 12th St.

June 11

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an authorized controlled burning at 708 W. Church St., a dispatched/canceled en route to 211 W. Church St., a gas leak at 1601 Marion St., an overheated motor at 1301 Summit St. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 310 S. Sixth St., 108 Iowa Ave. West and 604 Jerome St.

June 12

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 1002 W. Boone St., two dispatched/canceled en route to 2510 S. Sixth St. and 402 N. 10th Ave. and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 616 W. Boone St. and 506 Arlington Drive.

June 13

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/canceled en route to 411 Marion St. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 309 W. Merle Hibbs Blvd., 210 Westwood Drive and 1112 Bromley St.

June 14

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a prescribed fire at 7 S. Seventh Ave. and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 106 W. Webster St. and 206 Nicholas Drive.

Arrests

• On Thursday, Lloyd Hannagan, 47, was arrested on a warrant charging him with child endangerment-no injury, possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Thursday, June 18, Allison Marie Haines, 25, was arrested on a warrant.
