• Timothy Edward Newman Palmer made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on June 12.

• Christopher Dale Strickland made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge and an assault charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The arraignment hearing is set at 1 p.m. on June 16 and the preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on June 19. Strickland was released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Luis Salomon Almea Gimenez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on July 22.

• Zack Ryan Campton made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on June 23. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on June 23.
