Court — Monday

• Shannon R. Hawk Eagle made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Tyler Heeren was appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 20. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.

• Ramon Jesus Mora made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge and a probation violation charge. Jeff Hazen was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing and probation revocation hearing are set at 1 p.m. on Oct. 6. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only on each charge. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Darnell Wade Lamere made an initial appearance on a willful injury charge. Christian Stickrod was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. o Oct. 5. Bond is set at $10,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Sierra Ann Price made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Price pleaded guilty to an amended charge of expired driver’s license and the fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $140.50, due within 30 days.

• Rita Mae Eastman made an initial appearance on an animal neglect-death or injury charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Oct. 16.

• Tanner Michael Uhde made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 18.

• Daniel Ramirez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 4.

• Kisha Christine Kutzner made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Kutzner pleaded guilty and the fine is $645 with a $96.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $801.75, due in 30 days.

• Randy Lee Johnson made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop sign charge. Johnson pleaded guilty and the fine is $100 with a $15 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $170, due within 30 days.

• On Sunday, a hit and run accident was reported in the 600 block of Jerome Street.

• On Sunday, a case of criminal mischief to property in the commission of a burglary was reported at the intersection of Iowa Avenue East and Governor Road.

• On Saturday, a theft was reported in the 1900 block of South Third Avenue Place.

• On Saturday, a case of vandalism to property was reported in the 200 block of East Webster Street.

• On Friday, a case of identity theft was reported to the Marshalltown Police Station.

• On Friday, a theft involving the unauthorized use of a credit card was reported in the 10 block of South Ninth Street.

• On Saturday, Ignacio Cruz, 33, was cited for careless driving.

• On Saturday, Refugio Freyre, 35, was cited for careless driving.

Arrests

• On Monday, Shannon Hawk Eagle, 42, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Sunday, Ramon Mora, 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant.

• On Sunday, Darnell Lamere, 24, was arrested for willful injury-causing serious injury.

• On Sunday, Refugio Freyre, 35, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Saturday, Ignacio Cruz,33, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Friday, Joshua Patterson, 36, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Friday, Blaze Krough, 21, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Jaylen Downs, 19, was arrested for sniffing glue/chemical substance prohibited.
