Court — Wednesday

• Salud Castillo made an initial appearance on an attempted murder charge, a possession of a weapon charge, a willful injury charge and a going armed with intent charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 11. Bond is set at $100,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Carlos Gab Lopez Agosto made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 16. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Tonya Lynn Weber made an initial appearance on four counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge.The contempt hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Cesar Daniel Guillen Rivera made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, a stop sign violation charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 21.

• Juan Roy Lizarde made an initial appearance on two counts of the probation violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Alexis Lillian Collinson made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a speeding charge. Collinson pleaded guilty to both charges. On the no insurance the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $342.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25. Payments are due within 30 days.

• John Paul Hulin made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a driving under suspension charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 22. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Cameron De Angelo Wise made an initial appearance on a no seat belt charge. The fees were $7.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $67.50, due within 30 days.

• Michael Alexander Day made an initial appearance on a fireworks violation charge. Day pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $134.75, due within 30 days.

• Jose Guadalupe Castro made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. Castro pleaded guilty and the fine is $20 with a $12 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $92, due within 30 days.

• Taylor Michael Vibbard made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Vibbard pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• On Tuesday, a case of vandalism to property valued between $1,000 – $10,000 was reported in the 800 block of West State Street.

Citations

• On Tuesday, Cesar Daniel Guillen Rivera, 27, was cited for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way and no insurance-accident.

Arrests

• On Wednesday, Khaing Aye, 39, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Tuesday, Christopher Davis, 39, was arrested for forgery.

• On Tuesday, Carlos Lopez Agosto, 29, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Tuesday, Precious Douglas, 45, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Tuesday, Jill Leavy, 61, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended.

• On Tuesday, Cesar Guillen Rivera, 27, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended.

• On Thursday, a theft of a motor vehicle was reported in Laurel.

• On Tuesday, Juan Roy Lizarde, 28, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Melba Alamo Gonzalez, 57, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Salud Castillo, 26, was arrested for possession of contraband in a correctional facility-weapon, going armed with intent, willful injury-causing serious injury and attempted murder.

• On Tuesday, Melissa Wade, 23, was arrested on a warrant charging him with theft-fifth degree.
