Court — Monday

• Rita Marie Tesar made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set at 10 a.m. on Nov. 6.

• Steven James Hayden made an initial appearance on a harassment-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 6.

• Angela Jean Dunbar made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. Dunbar pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the no insurance charge is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Miguel Angel Ibarra Lemus made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge and theft-fifth degree charge. Ibarra Lemus pleaded guilty to the trespass charge and the fine is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354, due within 30 days. A pre-trial conference on the theft charge is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 16 in Magistrate Court.

• Monique Lynn Woodsmall made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Woodsmall pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• William Artemio Yanez Najarro made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, a no seat belt charge and a driving under suspension charge. Yanez Najarro pleaded guilty to all charges. The fine on the no insurance charge is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the seat belt charge is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. On the driving under suspension charge the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Victoria Dawn Estrada made an initial appearance on a failure to use child restraint device charge and a no insurance charge. Estrada pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the child restraint charge is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. All payments are due within 30 days.

• On Sunday, a theft from a motor vehicle was reported to the Marshalltown Police Station.

• On Sunday, a theft was reported in the 500 block of NewCastle Road.

• On Saturday, a burglary was reported in the 200 block of North Fourth Street.

• On Saturday, a burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Fifth Avenue.

• On Saturday, a hit and run accident was reported in the 600 block of South Sixth Street.

• On Friday, a case of vandalism to property was reported in the 600 block of Lee Street.

Citations

• On Sunday, Nichole Ann Stanley, 32, was cited for no insurance-accident and striking an unattended vehicle.

• On Saturday, Stephanie Lynn Anderson, 47, was cited for no insurance and operating a non-registered vehicle.

Arrests

• On Sunday, Cole Wrage, 37, was arrested for keeping a premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

• On Sunday, Nichole Stanley, 32, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Sunday, David Gomes Jr., 25, was arrested for interference with official acts and on a warrant.

• On Sunday, Steven Hayden, 56, was arrested for operating while under the influence-second offense, harassment-third degree and interference with official acts.

• On Saturday, David Dereus Jr., 34, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

• On Saturday, Stephanie Anderson, 47, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended.
