Court — Monday

• Dewey Y. Bass made an initial appearance on a failure to appear at a pre-trial and a contempt hearing. Both actions are rescheduled for 10 a.m. on Oct. 19. Bond will continue as posted.

• Alan Gonzalez Ramirez made an initial appearance on a careless driving charge, a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. Gonzalez Ramirez pleaded guilty to all charges. On the careless driving charge the fine is $40 with a $6 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $101. The fine on the no insurance charge is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Sierra Paige Warnell made an initial appearance on an assault charge. Tyler Reichardt was appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 11.

• Antonio Joe Laurie made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Laurie pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Ryan Heath Chaplin made an initial appearance on a possession of controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Oct. 9. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 30 days. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety

• Mathew Andrew McCanna made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a contempt hearing and a trial charge. Jeff Hazen will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing and trial dates will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $10,000 cash.

• John Darryl Jordan Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jordan pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75, due within 30 days.

• Richard Wayne Samora made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Samora pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.
