Court — Tuesday

• Nathan Wayne Cuellar made an initial appearance on two counts of a failure to appear for sentencing charge and on a failure to file an arraignment charge. On the failure to appear for sentencing on a carrying weapons charge and possession of methamphetamine charge and the failure to file an arraignment charge the District Associate Court will reschedule the next court proceedings. Cuellar is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within eight hours.

On the failure to appear for sentencing on a theft-third degree charge and a forgery charge the District Associate Court imposed a sentencing of a fine of $625 with a surcharge of $93.75 and court costs of $519.90 for a total of $1,238.65.

• Devin Michael Lagrone made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Nov, 13. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Christopher Lee Wanatee made an initial appearance on a no valid driver’s license charge and a operation without registration or plate charge. Wanatee pleaded guilty to both charges. On the no valid driver’s license charge the fine is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354. The fine on the operation without registration is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

Court — Monday

• Shawn David Youngbear made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 with a jury trial set for 9 a.m. on Nov. 19. Bond is set at $10,000 cash.

• Fernando Javier Macias made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. Macias pleaded guilty to all charges. On the no insurance charge the fine is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the speeding charge is $425 with a $63.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $543.75. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Stephanie Lynn Anderson made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, an operating a non-registered vehicle charge and a driving under suspension charge. Anderson pleaded guilty to the no insurance and non-registered vehicle charges. The fine on the no insurance charge is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the non-registered vehicle charge is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. All payments are due within 30 days. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 2 in Magistrate Court on the driving under suspension charge.

• Timothy Ryan Ellwanger made an initial appearance on a passing of a school bus charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 2 in Magistrate Court.

• Matthew Steven Lund made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 16 in Magistrate Court.

• Jill Rae Leavy made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 in Magistrate Court.

• Joshua Wesley Corbin made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge and a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel on the OWI charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

On the speeding charge the fine is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25, due within 30 days.

• Douglas Lee Davis made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge, a theft-third degree charge, a criminal mischief-second degree charge, a criminal mischief-third degree charge and seven counts of a burglary-third degree charge. Jennie Wilson Moore was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 6. Davis is being held without bond.

• Lance Mandell Walker made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 16.

• On Sunday, two burglaries were reported in the 500 block of South Fifth Street.
