Court — Monday

• Say Say Htoo made an initial appearance on a leaving the scene of an accident charge and striking an unattended vehicle charge. Htoo pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the leaving the scene charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. The fine on the striking an unattended vehicle is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $164 in court costs for a total of $319.25. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Christian Brandon Mason made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain control charge, a no insurance charge, a driving under suspension charge and a operating while under the influence-first offense charge. Mason pleaded guilty to the maintain control charge and the no insurance charge. The fine on the maintaining control charge is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the no insurance charge is $645 with a $46.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $796.75. All payments are due within 30 days.

The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel on the other two charges. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Suad Hider Al Yasiri made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Al Yasiri pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Hardy Kasalu Hagba made an initial appearance on a passing a school bus charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, in Magistrate Court.

• Lance Mandell Walker made an initial appearance on a possession of a controll substance charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Melanie Danay Garcia Nunez made an initial appearance on a passing of a school bus charge. Garcia Nunez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Maria Jesus Nunez Hernandez made an initial appearance on a unlawful passing of a school bus charge. Nunez Hernandez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Jordan Scott Parker made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Parker pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Erik Jesus Andrade made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 13, 2021, in Magistrate Court.
