• Jose Antonio Cervantes-Rodriguez, 48, was arrested Monday for driving with a suspended license.

• Emilio Antonio Hernandez, 27, was arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license.

• Jade Elise Kapayou, 33, was arrested Saturday for first-offense possession of a schedule I controlled substance.

• Michael James Downs, 68, was arrested Saturday on a warrant.

• Preston James Phipps, 33, was arrested Friday on a warrant.

• Joshua David Hoglan, 36, was arrested Sunday for possession of drug paraphernalia and first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana.

• Jamie Lynn Alley, 34, was arrested Sunday for first offense domestic abuse assault — injury or mental illness.

• Zane Aaron Dolash, 40, was arrested Sunday for prohibited fireworks use.

Incidents

• The Embers Retirement Community reported fourth-degree criminal mischief, striking fixtures on W. State Street on Friday.

• Terry Darnell Jordan reported fourth-degree criminal mischief, vandalism damage to property on N. First Street Saturday.

• Marcos Ibarra reported fourth-degree theft, larceny on N. Fifth Street on Sunday.

January 11

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with EMS crew at 917 Finkle Avenue, 505 N. 14th Avenue and 202 N. Second Avenue; a passenger vehicle fire at the intersection of S. Sixth Street and Westwood Drive and were dispatched and cancelled en route to 916 E. Main Street and 910 E. Olive Street.

January 12

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to eight medical assists with EMS crew at 6 S. Sixth Avenue, 704 N. Fifth Avenue, 915 W. Merle Hibbs Boulevard, 403 N. Center Street, 106 Taft Street and 706 Union Street; and were dispatched and cancelled en route to 2802 S. Center Street.

January 13

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two medical assists with EMS crew at 206 S. 11th Street and 1500 Lincoln Tower Circle 402, a motor vehicle accident with injury at S. Third Avenue, a passenger vehicle fire at 102 E. State Street and were dispatched and cancelled en route to 2901 S. Second Street.

January 14

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two medical assists with EMS crew at 545 N. Third Street and 2012 S. Sixth Street, a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of W. Church Street and S. 13th Street and were dispatched and cancelled en route to 2510 S. Sixth Street, 402 N. 10th Avenue, 1012 E Anson Street and the intersection of N. 12th Avenue and E. State Street.

January 15

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to six medical assists with EMS crew at 1201 Fairway Drive, 304 S. Fifth Street, 507 E. Church Street, 1702 Edgebrook Drive, 2023 S. Fifth Avenue and1211 W. State Street; and were dispatched and cancelled en route to 405 S. Sixth Street.

January 16

• Marshalltown Fire Department responded to seven medical assists with EMS crew at 1202 Fairway Drive, 212 N. Fifth Street, 707 Arlington Drive, 533 N. Third Street, 4 N. 12th Avenue, 408 W. High Street 7, 106 S. Fifth Street and 309 S. 12th Avenue.

January 17

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with EMS crew at 114 N. Center Street, 105 N. 22nd Street and 111 N. Seventh Street and a motor vehicle accident with no injury at 19 N. Center Street.

• Armando Perez-Galvez, 23, was arrested Sunday for driving while barred and speeding in a 55 or under zone.

• Jennifer Smith, 45, was arrested Sunday for violation of a no contact/protective order.
