Arrests
• On Friday, Oct. 1, Jared Wirth, 37, of Waterloo, was arrested in Reinbeck and charged with violation of a no-contact order. Wirth posted bond and was released.
• On Friday, Oct. 1, Antonio Beard, 32, of St. Paul, MN, was arrested on Highway 20 on four Linn County warrants charging him with violation of a no-contact order, failure to appear for a probation revocation hearing, failure to appear for a mittimus and failure to appear Iowa Domestic Abuse Program hearing. Beard was released to Linn County authorities.
Accidents
• On Friday, Oct. 1, a car driven by Luke Locascio, 25, of Mason City, was traveling east on Highway 20 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Locascio car was estimated at $5,000.

• On Sunday, Oct. 3, Djany Mvimba Makosi, 27, was cited for driving while license is denied, cancelled, suspended or revoked.

• On Sunday, Oct. 3, Kevin Cebrero, 20, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct-fighting or violent behavior.
• On Sunday, Oct. 3, Mark Morris Sr., 54, was arrested for harassment-first degree, domestic abuse assault impeding the flow of air or blood and domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent offense.
• On Sunday, Oct. 3, Jose Antonio Alvarado, 20, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.
• On Sunday, Oct. 3, Arturo Garcia-Diaz, 38, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.
• On Sunday, Oct. 3, Molly Gummert, 34, was arrested for trespass-second offense.
• On Saturday, Oct. 2, Adalberto Cantu Jr., 50, was arrested for operating while under the influence-second offense.
• On Saturday, Oct. 2, Casey Cook, 31, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/protective order.
• On Friday, Oct. 1, Gavin Cagle, 20, was arrested on a warrant.
• On Friday, Oct. 1, Terry Echols, 48, was arrested for violation of a no-contact or protective order and assault on persons in certain occupations-no injury-no weapon.
• On Friday, Oct. 1, Humberto Ibarra, 33, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.
