Accidents

• On Sunday, an SUV driven by Alexander Stephen Craig, 28, of Albion, was northbound on Sanford Avenue when it struck a deer that ran out in front of the SUV and pulled off to the side of the road. A car driven by Barry William Niederklopfer, 37, of State Center, was also northbound and pulled around the Craig SUV to pass and struck the deer in the roadway. No one was injured. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $3,500.

• On Saturday, a pickup driven by Kevin Duane Morrison, 55, of Waterloo, was northbound on Marsh Avenue when it struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Morrison pickup was estimated at $7,500.

• On Saturday, an SUV driven by Terry Lynn Prati, 51, of Altoona, was northbound on Highway 330 when a deer entered the roadway from the east ditch resulting in the SUV striking it and causing severe front end damage. Damage to the Prati SUV was estimated at $10,000.

• On Nov. 7, an SUV driven by Ruth Eileen Davis, 72, of Melbourne, was southbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Davis SUV was estimated at $5,000.
