• Albert Otto Hunger made an initial appearance on an extradition request from the State of Illinois. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The extradition hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 28. Hunger is being held without bond.

Hunger also appeared on a theft-fourth degree charge and a trespass charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 20. Bond will continue as posted.

• Leonardo Daniel Del Real Sanchez made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Mark Olberding is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 17. Del Real Sanchez is being held without bond.

• Todd M. Green made an initial appearance on two counts of a theft-fifth degree. Green pleaded guilty to the first count and the fine is $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $134.75. The second count was dismissed with court costs of $132.18 assessed.

• Aleta Mae Alberts made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-third offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 20. Bond will continue as posted.

• Seth Taylor Heles made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2022, in Magistrate Court.

• Salvador Lara made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Lara pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Sarah Rochelle Desautels made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2022, in Magistrate Court.

• Brent Angel Aguilar made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, an operation without registration charge and a no insurance charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 19, 2022, in Magistrate Court.

• Salvador Magana made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and two counts of a theft-fifth degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 20. Bond will continue as posted. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Blaine Micheal Gentry made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. Gentry pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

Incidents

• On Tuesday, a theft of a stolen vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Warren Street.

• On Tuesday, a theft was reported in the 3000 block of South Center Street.

Arrests

• On Tuesday, Albert Hunger, 44, was arrested for theft-fourth degree, trespass and on a warrant.
