• Santiago Higinio Diaz Aguirre made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Taylor Reichardt was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Feb. 10. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Timothy James Leavy made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. Marshon Dubbert will continue as counsel. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 with the jury trial set at 9 a.m. on Feb. 3.
• Stephanie Castro Sanchez made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-second degree charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public defenderÕs office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Feb. 10.
• Ryan Bennett Peak made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a driving while barred charge and a driving under suspension charge. Jeffrey Hazen will continue as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Jan. 31. Bone is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
• Gustavo Dominguez Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a sex abuse-second degree charge. The public defenderÕs office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Jan. 31. Bond is set at $25,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Larean Margraeta Skogen Walker made an initial appearance on four counts of a child endangerment charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Jan. 31. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.
• Jack Ponnie Walker made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Walker pleaded guilty to both charges. On the driving under suspension the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine for the speeding charge is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25.
• Jaime Gustavo Gallardo made an initial appearance on a violating a one-way traffic designation charge and a driving under suspension charge. Gallardo pleaded guilty to both charges. On the traffic designation charge the fine is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Shallom Mantay Kata made an initial appearance on a speeding charge and a driving under suspension charge. Kata pleaded guilty to both charges. On the speeding charge the fine is $165 with a $24.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $244.75. The fine for the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
• Ellissa Kaye Vancannon made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a false identification information charge initial appearance. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 23 in Magistrate Court.
