Court — Wednesday

• Brandon Michael Pinney made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Taylor Reichardt will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. on May 27. The no-contact order has been amended.

• Dakota James Collinson made an initial appearance on three counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 2:30 p.m. on June 8. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• Cole Blake Purdy made an initial appearance on four counts of an animal abuse charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 27. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Whitney Leigh Underhill made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. Pre-trial release is revoked. Bond is set at $10,000 cash.

• Krystle Kourey Tyon made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on June 7.

• Luis Ledesma made an initial appearance on a public intoxication-first offense charge. Ledesma pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

Tuesday

• Michael Thomas Davis made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a driving while barred charge. Nikolas Pilcher is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference remains set at 1:30 p.m. on June 17 with the jury trial set at 9 a.m. on June 30. Davis is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours.

• Crystal Lynn Perez made an initial appearance on a malicious prosecution charge and a driving under suspension charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 27. Bond is set at $6,000 cash or surety.

Perez was also seen on a probation violation charge. Peters is acting as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set at 11:15 a.m. on June 7.

• Earnest Taylor made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on May 27. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

• Monique Lynn Woodsmall made an initial appearance on four counts of a pre-trial release violation. Pre-trial release is revoked. Bond is set at $32,000 cash. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on May 31.

Woodsmall was also seen on a burglary charge. Stephen Allison is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 27. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Isaias Guijosa made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. Joel Waters will continue as counsel. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. on June 17 with the trial set for 9 a.m. on June 30. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.

Guijosa appeared on providing a false identification information charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on June 22 in Magistrate Court.

• Chad Alan Lavender made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on June 6.

• David Loranzo Peppers made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Taylor Reichardt is acting as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 10 a.m. on May 31. Bond is set at $300 cash or surety. The no-contact order has been amended.

• Dakota James Collinson made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on June 15 in Magistrate Court.

• Eric Estuardo Yanez Gonzalez made an initial appearance on a possession of alcohol by a person 18, 19 or 20-first offense charge, a following too close charge, a reckless driving charge, a driving while under suspension charge, a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge and a failure to maintain control charge. Yanez Gonzalez pleaded guilty to all charges. On the possession of alcohol charge the fine is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354. The fine for the following too close and failure to maintain control charges is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25 for each charge. The fine on the reckless driving and failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charges is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75 for each charge. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
