Court — Monday

• Levi Jay Wilson made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a driving under suspension charge, a failure to maintain or use set belts charge, an operation without registration charge and a no insurance charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 26.

• Brittany Jeanne Ceren made an initial appearance on a harassment-first degree charge and a theft-third degree charge. Ceren waived her preliminary hearing. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Gary Brian Briggs made an initial appearance on an assault charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 in Magistrate Court.

• Kai Fox Bird made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Michael Eugene Hammer made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-second degree charge. Hammer will hire his own counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Aug. 26.

• Brittney Precious Renaee Thrift made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• A 15-year-old female made an initial appearance on a violation of a minor’s restricted license charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Jessica Marie Catron made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Justin Deppe is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Emily Claire Steier made an initial appearance on three counts of an animal neglect resulting in serious injury or death charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Andrea Josephine Thompson made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, an unlawful possession of prescription drugs charge, a failure to appear at a pre-trial conference charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

Arrests

• On Monday, Ismael Corona, 27, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Sunday, Cedano Thomas, 29, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-second offense and domestic abuse assault-strangulation.

• On Saturday, Garrett Hauersperger, 21, was arrested for speeding, no insurance and driving while license is denied or revoked.

• On Saturday, Jordan Parker, 27, was arrested for dog at large.

• On Saturday, Glen Menter, 26, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Scott Schuler, 45, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Juan Cintora Vallafuerte, 46, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Friday, Ronald Metivier Jr., 41, was arrested for two counts of driving under suspension, driving while barred-habitual offender, no insurance-accident and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway.
