• Jessica Jo Peterson made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 20. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Anthony Michael Anzivino made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Anzivino is being held without bond.

• Austin Allen McDanniel made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Dec. 8.

• Jerome Marquez Lang made an initial appearance on seven counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 13. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Armando Perez Galvez made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance and a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 21. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Estefani Lopez Guido made an initial appearance on a leaving the scene of an accident-injury charge and a driving under suspension charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 21.

Nov. 30

• Luis Manuel Mendez made an initial appearance on a absence from custody charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 9. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.

Mendez was also seen on two counts of a probation violation charge. Aron Vaughn was appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Mendez is being held without bond.

• David Enrique Torres made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. Taylor Reichardt is appointed as counsel. The arraignment hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Dec. 13.

• Amy Kabrick made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Richard Lee Ecklor Jr. made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and an operation without registration charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• Alexis Garcia failed to make an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a speeding charge. The court found Garcia guilty on all charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine for speeding is $2990 with a $43.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $388.50.

Arrests

• On Wednesday, Aubrey Moorlet, 62, was arrested for possession of contraband in a correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and driving while barred-habitual offender.

Accidents

• On Nov. 20, a car driven by Nathan Bruce Mielke, 41, of Conrad, was northbund on Sanford Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mielke car was estimated at $8,600.

• On Nov. 12, a car driven by Ryan Michael Yacabal Bitker, 24, of Le Grand, was westbound on Main Street Road when struck a deer that entered the roadway on the passenger side front causing minor damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Bitker car was estimated at $5,000.

• On Nov. 5, a pickup driven by Gregory Marlyn Hoing, 65, of Marshalltown, was eastbound on Main Street Road when it struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Hoing pickup was estimated at $6,000.
