April 7

• Zakee Blayze Newman made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on May 3 in Magistrate Court.

• Victor Manuel Vasquez made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on April 17. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

April 10

• Alexandeer Reian made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge, a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on April 19.

• Lawrence Lawson Middleton Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on April 28. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Reynaldo Pedro Landa made an initial appearance on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. Pedro Landa pleaded guilty and the fine is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50.

• Mases Raney failed to appear on a urinating in public charge. The court found him guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $175.75.

• On Sunday, April 9, Ryan Edwards, 32, was arrested for assault with intent-causing bodily injury.

• On Sunday, April 9, Luis Medina Flores, 44, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Sunday, April 9, Maribel Guevara, 26, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and possession of marijuana-first offense.

• On Sunday, April 9, Exera Mwilewa, 22, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana-first offense and possession of a controlled substance-first offense.

• On Saturday, April 8 Jerome Lang, 21, was arrested for burglary-second degree and domestic abuse assault.

• On Saturday, April 8, Lynnette Rasmussen, 22, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court.

• On Friday, April 7, Anthony Simichy, 36, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Thursday, April 6, Christopher McWherter, 43, was arrested for assault-causing serious bodily injury and domestic abuse assault-first offense-causing bodily injury.

• On Thursday, April 6, John Lodge, 22, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-first offense.

• On Sunday, April 9, Luis Bernal-Perez, 20, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to yield upon entering a stop/yield intersection, no valid driver’s license and possession of a controlled substance-first offense.

• On Sunday, April 9, Cahleb Fricke, 20, was arrested and held for court on a careless driving charge, a prohibited passing charge, a no valid driver’s license charge, an eluding charge, a failure to display registration plate charge and a failure to yield upon entering a stop/yield intersection.

• On Sunday, April 9, Jesus Rincon-Garcia, 22, was arrested for failure to change lanes approaching an emergency vehicle, no valid driver’s license and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Saturday, April 8, Michael Trevino, 52, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and speeding.

• On Friday, April 7, Michael Todd, 32, was arrested on a warrant charging him with theft-second degree.
