• Samuel Patrick Williams made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Williams is being held without bond.
• Donald Ray Martin made an initial appearance on a interference with official acts charge, a no valid driver's license charge and a failure to yield to an emergency vehicle charge. Martin pleaded guilty to all charges. On the interference charge the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the driver's license charge is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354. The fine on the failure to yield charge is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25.
• Ryan Douglas Edwards made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on May 8. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Johan Gomez failed to appear for an initial hearing on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. The court found Gomez guilty on both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75.
• Robert Terrell Bowen made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and an indecent exposure charge. A pre-trial conference on the driving under suspension charge is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 17 in Magistrate Court. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel for the indecent exposure charge. The preliminary hearing is set at 9:30 a.m. on May 8. A no-contact order is issued for the protected party.
• Clinton Bates Squire made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, an operation without registration charge and a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 15 in Magistrate Court.
