• Xavier Nathaniel Terrell made an initial appearance on an eluding charge, a speeding charge, a failure to maintain control charge, a no valid driver’s license charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 25. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Jerome McDowell made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. McDowell is being held without bond.

• Taylor Nevelle Hayes made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and a possession of marijuana charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing has been waived. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• On Tuesday, April 4, Sarafina Jimmison, 31, was arrested for theft-second degree-motor vehicle theft.

• On Tuesday, April 4, Indira Salguero-Guzman, 35, was arrested on a warrant for operating while under the influence-first offense.

Accidents

• On Tuesday, March 28, a car driven by Eileen Jane Saunders, 53, of Haverhill, was northbound on Highway 14 at the intersection of 250th Street when a deer entered the roadway and was struck resulting in functional front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Saunders car was estimated at $4,500.
