• Jessie Jordan Fikes Jr. made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on July 13. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Keenon T. Davis made an initial appearance on an eluding charge, a reckless driving charge, a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge and a speeding charge. Arch Wilson III is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on July 13.

• Jovanni Lopez Nunez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Lopez Nunez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Kyle Michael Downs made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. Downs pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $342 in court costs for a total of $462.75.

• Robert Dean Thompson appeared through counsel on a leaving the scene of an accident-injury charge. The preliminary hearing is waived.

• Gaelle Mabanza made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on July 13.
