• Eric Vincent Verdulla made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and a harassment-second degree charge. Arch Wilson is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 31. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jennifer Marie Grogan made an initial on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 23 in Magistrate Court. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel.

• Ismat Abdalla Hassan made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-third offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 31. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Matthew Ryan Gannaway made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Gannaway pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Nickolus James Curl made an initial appearance through counsel, Jennifer Frese, on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is waived. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Victor Hugo Carrillo Avila made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Carrillo Avila pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Sondra Ragen Alas made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. Michael Arleth is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 10.

• Byron Lloyd Barker made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. Francis Hurley is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 10.

• On Friday, July 21, Eric Verdulla, 40, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-first offense causing bodily injury and harassment-second degree-threaten bodily injury.

• On Thursday, July 20, Kitt Colizziano, 44, was arrested on a fugitive warrant for extradition.
