• Racer Allin Hulin made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge and an improper use of lanes charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Aug. 14. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Kristopher Matthias Kruger made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is waived.
• Dakota Buse made an initial appearance on a violation of parole charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Buse is being held without bond.
• Justin Dewayne Chlupach made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-second offense charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Aug. 14. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
