• Tremain Lavern Orange made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 16. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
• Amador Guevara made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for initial appearances on a theft-fifth degree charge and an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 9 in Magistrate Court.
• Jocelyn Michelle Gomez made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a unlawful possession of prescription drugs charge and a possession of marijuana charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Jonathan William Fletcher made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with failure to appear initials for a possession of methamphetamine charge and a contempt hearing charge. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. The next court appearance will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
• Angel Jesus Sanchez made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. Sanchez will hire his own counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16.

• On Wednesday, July 26, Jocelyn Gomez, 30, was arrested for speeding, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana-first offense and driving while barred-habitual offender.
• On Wednesday, July 26, Jonathan Fletcher, 40, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court, interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance-first offense.
