• Christine Lynette Alman made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is waived. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Steven Howard Dickerhoff made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge and four counts of a child endangerment charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29. A o-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Andre Allen Young made an initial appearance on a possession of methamphetamine-third or subsequent offense charge and a violation of probation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing for the possession charge is set at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 18. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Nathan Wayne Cuellar made an initial appearance on a possession of meth-third or subsequent offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 18. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Michael George Ford made an initial appearance on a failure to appear charge for soliciting ride from within a highway charge, a pedestrian walking on the wrong side of a highway charge, a trespass-first offense charge and an interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 30 in Magistrate Court.

• Jameshia Tieyonia Nevills made an initial appearance on a failure to enter a written plea charge on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge. The written plea has been filed.

• Jacqueline Kassandra Fonseca made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 29.

• Aaron Henry McCarty failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Charles Evan Snyder failed to appear on a driving under suspension-SR 22 charge and a driving under suspension charge and the court found him guilty on both counts. The fines are $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50 on each charge.

• On Tuesday, Aug. 8, Andre Young Jr., 40, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Aug. 8, Ashanty Garcia Ortiz, 19, was arrested for rabies vaccination violation.

• On Tuesday, Aug. 8, Eleazar Perez-Derreza, 45, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Tuesday, Aug. 8, Rebecca Small, 53, was arrested for assault-simple.
