• Melissa Ann Hallmann AKA Workman made an initial appearance on an introducing drugs into an institution charge, a possession of a controlled substance-first offense charge and a theft-fourth degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21. Bond is set at $6,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

Workman was also seen on a providing false identification information charge. She pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Jayde John Winn Easton made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge and a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Taylor Reichardt is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing on the assault charge is at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Chase Steven Baumgartner made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 31.

• Ryan Adam Carmer made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Benjamin Tyler Runge made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 30 in Magistrate Court.
