• Taven Christopher Campbell made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge and two counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel for the probation charge. The District Associate Court will schedule the probation revocation hearing and the contempt hearing. Bond is set at $3,000 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Craig Alan Howell made an initial appearance on an assault charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 27 in Magistrate Court.

Arrests

• On Wednesday, Aug. 23, Taven Campbell, 23, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order and on a warrant.

• On Wednesday, Aug. 23, Craig Howell, 56, was arrested for assault-intent to cause pain/injury.
