The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 17. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

• Jasmine Renee Atkins made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge and an interference with official acts charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 17. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Jesse J. Albee made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 17. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Xavier Robert Bernal made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. Jeff Hazen remains as counsel. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Jose Ramirez Noriega made an initial appearance on a violation of an instruction permit charge and a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 16 in Magistrate Court.

• Pablo E. Hernandez Fernandez failed to appear on a failure to stop in the assured, clear distance charge and the court found him guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Dasha Kasheria Soto Colon made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 6 in Magistrate Court.

• On Sunday, Aug. 6, Jamee Alexander, 34, was arrested for theft-second degree-theft from a building.

• On Sunday, Aug. 6, Jasmine Atkins, 25, was arrested for theft-second degree-theft from a building.

• On Sunday, Aug. 6, Jesse Albee, 32, was arrested for theft-third degree-shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Saturday, Aug. 5, Megan Kutzner, 31, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Aug. 5, Taven Campbell, 23, was arrested for interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Saturday, Aug. 5, Xavier Bernal, 22, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Aug. 4, Phylicia Quincy, 32, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, no insurance, operating a non-registered vehicle and on a warrant.

• On Friday, Aug. 4, Jesus Morales, 26, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Sunday, Aug. 6, Arisbeth Castillo, 26, was arrested for operating a non-registered vehicle, no insurance, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Sunday, Aug. 6, Vikki Frye, 62, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court.

• On Sunday, Aug. 6, Jasmine Atkins, 25, was arrested for theft-third degree-possession of stolen property and interference with official acts.

• On Friday, Aug. 4, Jesus Ventura-Carrasco, 27, was arrested for no insurance, dark windows, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of contraband in a correctional facility, possession of methamphetamine with intent to manufacture or deliver and contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

• On Friday, Aug. 4, Jomari Morales, 34, was arrested for failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of meth with the intent to manufacture or deliver.

• On Friday, Aug. 4, Dametres Bloch, 32, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
