• Randy Lynn Hinders made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge and a driving under suspension charge. Hinders pleaded guilty to the driving under suspension and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel on the parole violation. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge.
• Abdikarim Ahmed Shiil made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 11 in Magistrate Court.
• Nicholas Duane Kline made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 2. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
