• Johmell Keyshawn Rosemond made an initial appearance on a sex offender registry violation-second or subsequent offense charge and two counts of a abandonment of cats and dogs-no injury charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel on the sex offender registry violation charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Oct. 17. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel on the abandonment charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 8 in Magistrate Court.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Sara Barber, 49, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-marijuana-first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Julio Rodriguez Gonzalez, 28, was arrested for driving while license is denied or revoked.
• On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Michael Foreman, 73, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-second offense.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 27, Drew Mularkey, 35, was arrested on a warrant charging him with domestic abuse assault-divorced spouse.
