Arrests

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Emadaldin Abdalla, 44, was arrested for public intoxication-first offense.

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Marcos Venegas, 23, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana-first offense, child endangerment-bodily injury, harassment-first degree, going armed with intent and domestic abuse assault-first offense with a dangerous weapon.

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Darnell Lamere, 27, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury-no intent.

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Marcus Reeves, 25, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Jose Martinez-Cuarenta, 20, was arrested for operating while under the influence-second offense.

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Anthony Russell, 36, was arrested for operating while under the influence-second offense and open container.

• On Sunday, Oct. 8, Antonio Vela Jr., 26, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance-first offense.

• Emadaldin Mohammad Abdalla made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Abdalla pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Anthony Lee Russell made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge and a open container charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 27. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Marcus William Leon Reeves made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Taylor Reichardt is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Reeves is being held without bond.

• William Robert Sliger made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30a.m. on Nov. 1 in Magistrate Court.
