• David Jonathan Duran made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Scott Hunter is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 7. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Angela Marie Cabrera made an initial appearance on two counts of a failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 9. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Eric David Bru made an initial appearance on a disarming a police officer charge, an eluding charge, an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an assault on persons in certain occupations charge, an interference with official acts charge, a driving in improper or wrong lanes charge, a faillure to yield upon entering a through highway charge and two counts of a speeding charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 10. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Chelsea Rae Smith made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 22 in Magistrate Court.

• Elizabeth Garcia Papakee made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Kelly Marie Pickett made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Pickett pleaded guilty and the fine is $260 with a $39 surcharge and court costs of $138.75 for a total of $437.78.

Nov. 1

• Robyn Marie Bishop failed to appear for a dog at large charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.
