• Ktwo Esa made an initial appearance on an attempted murder charge and two counts of a willful injury-bodily injury charge. Chris Clausen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 15. Bond is set at $50,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.

• Theodore Douglas Warden made an initial appearance on two counts of a sex abuse-second degree charge, three counts of a lascivious acts with a child charge and a child endangerment charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 15. Bond is $25,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected parties.

• Lorrie Ann Bartlett made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge and a pre-trial release violation charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel on the probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $10,000 cash. Pre-trial release is revoked and bond is set at $5,000 cash.

• Michael Edward Hoover made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Hoover is being held without bond.

• Brandon Ross Calkins made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Calkins is being held without bond.

• David Antonio Faris Loor made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The public defender's office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Yunisley Alfonso Palacio made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. jane White is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2024, in Magistrate Court.

• A 16-year-old male made an initial appearance on a driving in improper or wrong direction charge and a violation of a minor's restricted license charge. The juvenile pleaded guilty to both charges. On the improper lane charge the fine is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25. The fine on the license violation is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• On Tuesday, Dec. 5, Brandon Calkins, 36, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
