• Daisy Cristina Hernandez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 27 in Magistrate Court.

• Yoel Vazquez Perez made an initial appearance on a false application for a license or identification card charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 9 a.m. on Feb. 9.

• Darrell Melven Morris Sr. made an initial appearance on a rabies vaccination violation charge. Morris pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Travis John Shearer made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way charge, a no insurance charge, a driving under suspension charge and a leaving the scene of an accident charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 27 in Magistrate Court.

• Nolan James Bower made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. Bower pleaded guilty and the fine is $170 with a $25.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $250.50.

• On Sunday, Jan. 28, Ceisha Vanwey, 32, was arrested for dog at large.

• On Sunday, Jan. 28, Josephine Roberts, 19, was arrested for criminal mischief-fourth degree.

• On Saturday, Jan. 27, Thomas Edwards, 62, was arrested for driving on the wrong side of a roadway and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Saturday, Jan. 27, Andrew Varnum, 38, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury-no intent.

• On Saturday, Jan. 27, James Cuellar, 62, was arrested for theft-third degree-shoplifting.
