• Nicholas Bryant Morgan made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 12. Bond is set at $5,000 cash. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

Morgan was also seen on a child endangerment charge, an eluding charge, a failure to obey a traffic control device charge, a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a reckless driving charge. The preliminary hearing is set at 9 a.m. on Jan. 12. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

Morgan was seen on a pretrial release violation charge, a failure to appear for a probation violation charge and a probation violation charge. Pre-trial release was revoked and the bond is $5,000 cash and the probation revocation is set at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 13. Morgan is being held without bond.

• Cassidy Renes made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault with a dangerous weapon charge. Nicholas Pilcher is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 9 a.m. on Jan. 12. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Lisette Villarreal made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 29. Villarreal is being held without bond.

• Bernard A. Brooks made an initial appearance on a knowingly leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death charge, a failure to maintain control charge, a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. Chris Clausen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 12. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.

• Russell Robert Beck II failed to appear for a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge and the court found Beck guilty on both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $118.25.

• Ryan Ferneau made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on April 3 in Magistrate Court.

• Natalia Guadalupe Barajas Ayard failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Miguel Angel Sanchez Sanchez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Sanchez Sanchez pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is 30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50.

• Martin Minjarez Olague made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 19. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Hector Dario Hernandez Hernandez made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense charge, an interference with official acts charge, a failure to yield upon a left turn charge and a no valid driver’s license charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Jan. 19. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Damyniq Clowe Hagen Shoumaker failed to appear on a fireworks violation charge and the court found Shoumaker guilty. The fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• On Tuesday, Jan. 2, Bernard Brooks, 30, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, no insurance-accident, driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and knowingly leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death.

• On Tuesday, Jan. 2, Nicholas Morgan, 36, was arrested on a warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, no insurance, operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense, violation of probation, failure to obey a traffic control device, reckless driving, no insurance-accident, child endangerment, eluding and possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense.
