• Carlos Jean Pierre Rivera Solis made an initial appearance on an assault on persons in certain occupations charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and an interference with official acts charge. Scott Hunter is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 19. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Jorge Vladmir Padron Pena made an initial appearance on a harassment-first degree charge. Leah Patton is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 29. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Christian Emmanuel Chavez Murillo made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a possession of marijuana-first offense charge and a driving under suspension charge. Jessica Maffitt is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 29. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Tyson Ron Thompson made an initial appearance on a dominion/control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a domestic abuse offender charge, an interference with official acts charge, a possession of marijuana-third or subsequent offense charge, a possession or carrying of dangerous weapon while under the influence charge, a person ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon charge, a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a probation violation charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing on the new charges is set at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 16. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Thompson is being held without bond on the probation violation.

• Krista Rae Riley made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and an operating a non-registered vehicle charge. Riley pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the paraphernalia charge is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. The fine on the non-registered vehicle charge is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• Eduardo Zamudio made an initial appearance on a rabies violation charge. Zamudio pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Alexander James Conlon made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Conlon pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Gregory John Paglia made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 28 in Magistrate Court.

• Maria Blanco Quinones made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Quinones pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and court costs of $60 for a total of $180.75.

• Ceisha Rose Vanwey made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Vanwey pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and court costs of $60 for a total of $180.75.

• Kaylee Danielle Foth made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. Foth pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Yair Gallard made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. Gallard pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Jeremy Allan Kent made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. Kent pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Marcos Brandon Rico made an initial appearance on an animal neglect-death charge and an abandonment of cat/dog-death charge. Lucas Asbury is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 29.

• Drew Allen Gartin made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus charge. Gartin pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
