• Edison Nsengiyumva made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference prior to a jury trial charge. The pre-trial conference and jury trial will be rescheduled by the District Court. Bond is set at $25,000 cash.

• Ivan Cordova made an initial appearance on a burglary-second degree charge, a criminal mischief-first degree charge and a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on March 1. Bond is set at $13,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jeffery James Heslop made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a no insurance charge and an operating a non-registered vehicle charge. Arch Wilson is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on March 8. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Jerry Allen Cripps made an initial appearance on a theft-second degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on March 8.

• Francisco Geovanhy Venegas failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and a vehicle failed to respond to a steady red light charge. The court found Venegas guilty on both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the steady red light charge is $135 with a $20.25 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $210.25.

• On Wednesday, Feb. 21, Ivan Cordova, 23, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-first offense-causing bodily injury, criminal mischief-third degree and burglary-second degree-bodily injury resulting.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 20, Kevin Schaefer, 61, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense and failure to maintain control.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 20, Brian Hartson, 55, was arrested on a warrant charging him with driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Tuesday, Feb. 20, Edison Nsengiyumva, 25, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a sex abuse-third degree-by force-first offense.
