• Cody Jose Garcia made an initial appearance on a driving while revoked charge, a driving under suspension charge, an operating without registration charge and a person under 21 using tobacco/vapor product-first offense charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 15.

• Brady Wayne Carlson made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. Michael Arleth is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 930 a.m. on March 6. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.

• Jimmy Brian Chandler made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge and a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Francis Hurley is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on March 29. The contempt of court hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Chandler is being held without bond. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Douglas Michael Kurth made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Demetrias Kentrall Weatherly made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a possession of marijuana-second offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 15. Stephen Allison is appointed as counsel. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Oscar Junior Avalos made an initial appearance on a no insurance-accident charge and a driving under suspension charge. Avalos pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the no insurance is $645 with a $96.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $796.75. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Eleazar Mulumba Mamba made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge, a operating a non-registered vehicle charge and a driving under suspension charge. Mamba pleaded guilty to all charges. The fine on the no insurance is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the non-registered vehicle is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50. The fine on the driving under suspension charge is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Dianna Fernanda Murillo made an initial appearance on two counts of a child endangerment charge. Jason Burdick is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 8.

• Abel Enriquez Jr. made an initial appearance on a child endangerment-bodily injury charge. James Blackburn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 15. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jesus Manuel Rangel Rangel made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Rangel Rangel pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
